Matt Merry Upholstery Terms & Conditions
By submitting this form, you understand and agree to the following:
1. Pricing & Estimates
- All firm pricing requires an in-person inspection at Matt’s shop so he can look over the project properly.
- Online estimates (email, text, or photos) are approximate only and may change once the piece is inspected in person.
2. Consultations
- Consultations are free, but please call ahead to schedule before coming by. Matt runs a hands-on shop and may be in the middle of a job.
3. On-Site or Mobile Estimates
- In special cases, Matt may travel to you for an inspection if the project cannot be easily brought into the shop. Travel availability depends on location and workload. There is a consultation fee for on-site or mobile estimate.
4. Video Call Assessments
- For certain projects, Matt may be able to look things over via video call to provide a preliminary estimate. Final pricing is still confirmed only after an in-person inspection.
5. Project Acceptance
- Not all projects can be accepted. Matt reserves the right to decline work that falls outside his expertise, timeline, or shop capacity.
6. Materials & Lead Times
- Material availability, leather and fabric pricing, and turnaround times may vary. Any changes will be discussed with you before work begins.
7. Deposits & Scheduling
- Some projects may require a deposit to secure materials or reserve shop time. Deposit amount and timing will be communicated case-by-case.
8. Communication
- Matt aims to respond as promptly as possible, but replies may take a bit if he’s deep in a restoration job.
- Phone calls are the quickest way to reach him for scheduling or updates.
9. Warranty & Workmanship
- All work is completed with care and craftsmanship. If an issue arises with workmanship, Matt will take a look and do his best to make it right.
10. Bringing Items to the Shop
- Please do not drop off items without prior contact. Space is limited, and Matt wants to ensure he can store and work on your project safely.
